Eating Out - Containers

Whenever we'll be away from home at mealtime, we have to pack food for Rowan. We always seem to have a million tupperware containers shoved into our diaper bag. I just found these adorable Bento Boxes made by Kamio Japan. What a great way to pack food and keep it all together! I ordered the frog and the panda. So cute!

  1. those are very cute! so what kind of stuff do you pack for Rowan? It seems like a lot of stuff would contain either milk or eggs. Do you have to give her vitamins to get her calcium and protein?

  2. We make everything from scratch. She eats fruits, steamed veggies, and beef or fish (salmon and tilapia). Thankfully, she loves most vegetables. She actually eats really well.

She drinks rice milk, which is fortified with calcium, and vitamins A and D. So far I haven't been able to find any vitamins that don't have ascorbic acid in them.

I also have some good recipes for allergy-free baked goods, using Ener-g Egg Replacer, rice milk, alternative grains, honey, etc.
